- Wildfire MWF012 is classified as out of control at approximately 67 hectares.
- MWF012 is located southeast of Fort McMurray on the south side of the Clearwater River. The western flank is located approximately 4.5 km east of Saprae Creek Estates.
- Crews and resources have been working to strengthen the fire guard along the western flank of this wildfire.
- Night visibility helicopter bucketing operations took place last night into the early morning to help slow the growth of this wildfire.
- Today, two airtanker groups will lay down more fire retardant along the western flank of the wildfire.
- Night visibility helicopter bucketing will continue tonight if conditions permit.
