The wildfire danger across the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area is HIGH. As summer begins its slow transition into fall, it's natural for vegetation to lose moisture and dry out, increasing the risk of wildfires. In some areas, grass is already beginning to cure (dry out and die), providing additional fuel for wildfires to spread quickly. Please continue to use caution when recreating or working outdoors.

If you see smoke or flame and suspect that it's a wildfire, call 310-FIRE (3473) to report it.
