The fire danger is low. This means a fire can still start but is not expected to spread into the ground or to larger fuels, such as trees.

Fire Permits
From now until October 31, a fire permit is required for any burning in the Forest Protection Area (FPA), except for campfires, which do not need a fire permit.
Fire permits are free and can be requested using the online Fire Permit Portal. Visit firepermits.alberta.ca to request your fire permit online. You may also request your fire permit by calling your local fire guardian or visit a forestry office for a permit. Albertans living outside the FPA must contact their municipality or local authority for more information about fire permit requirements for burning.
