Snow and cool temperatures combine to create a low wildfire danger in the Whitecourt Forest Area.
Please remember, snow and cold temperatures do not mean you can leave a fire to put itself out. A fire that isn't properly extinguished can move underground and smolder until spring, when it comes alive as a wildfire.
