Rocky Wildfire Management Area
The Wildfire Hazard remains Low. Currently there are no active wildfires within the Rocky Wildfire Management Area.
Provincial Situation
Currently in Alberta 25 wildfires are burning totalling 87,047 hectares. Of the 25 wildfires - Three are Being Held, 21 are Under Control and One has been Turned Over.
Soak it, Stir it up and Soak it Again.
Please remember if you have a campfire, make sure your campfire is out. Soak it thoroughly, stir it up and then soak it thoroughly again until when holding your hand ABOVE the fire (never touch coals), you no longer feel heat. Click here to learn how you can prevent wildfires.
