Cooler temperatures and off-again on-again rain showers are keeping our wildfire hazard at LOW. We expect these conditions to persist through the weekend and into next week.
We haven't had any new wildfires this week. Our crews are ready to fight wildfires in the area, and several of our other crews continue to help with the Fort McMurray wildfire.
The photo below shows fire hose rolled and returned from the fire.
Thanks for doing your part to prevent wildfire. Remember that you need a permit for any burning other than a campfire.
