LAC LA BICHE WILDFIRE UPDATE

The wildfire danger in the Lac La Biche Forest Area is HIGH.

Since January 1 2024, there has been a total of 83 wildfires burning a total of 58 hectares in the Lac La Biche Forest Area. There are currently no active wildfire in the Lac La Biche Forest Area.

PROVINCIAL WILDFIRE UPDATE

Since January 1, 2024 in the Forest Protection Area of Alberta, there have been 380 wildfires burning a total of 27,971 ha.

HELP PREVENT WILDFIRES WHILE USING YOUR ATV

When riding your off-highway vehicle, stop frequently to remove any build-up of debris from your machine. Grass, muskeg, moss or other debris can begin to smolder and drop to the ground as you're riding and spark a wildfire.
