The 2020 wildfire season has ended

Wildfire season officially ends on October 31, but safe burning practices are always in season. From November 1 to March 1, fire permits are no longer required for burning. However, you are still responsible for any burning after wildfire season ends and extinguishing those winter burns. Visit www.wildfire.alberta.ca for information on conducting safe winter burns.
