When operating equipment, clear debris from moving parts, check your muffler and keep equipment in good repair. Equipment fires, work related sparks, friction and hot exhaust all can cause a wildfire. If you see a wildfire, report it immediately by calling 310-FIRE.

Remember to do your part to prevent wildfires. Human caused wildfires are 100% preventableWF_Social-images (9)

Fire Permits

From March 1st until October 31st, fire permits are required for any burning except campfires in the Forest Protection Area (FPA) of Alberta. Do not burn during windy conditions. Anyone living outside the FPA can contact their municipality for information about local fire permit requirements.
