Posted on Fri, Aug 02, 2013

  1. The disposition renewal and amendment process for the following disposition types:
    • EZE - Easement
    • LOC – License of Occupation
    • MLL – Miscellaneous Lease
    • MSL – Mineral Surface Lease PIL
    • PIL – Pipeline Installation Lease
    • PLA – Pipeline Agreement
    • REA – Rural Electrification Association Easement
    • SML – Surface Materials
    • VCE – Vegetation Control
  2. Mylar Township Plats

When does the change take affect?

October 31, 2013

Who is affected by the change and how?

All holders of dispositions (as shown above) that are expiring or that need amendment are affected by this change

Renewals

Disposition renewals will be available via the Electronic Disposition System (EDS). This new process eliminates and replaces the final submission required by the Enhanced Approval Process (EAP) with a statutory declaration.

The system will notify clients 18 months and 12 months prior to disposition expiry - clients will need to provide an email address so the notification is routed correctly.

For more details, contact the EDS Support Desk at:

Amendments

Amendments can be made to both EAP and non-EAP (e.g., EFR process) dispositions (as shown above).

  • Non-EAP dispositions will have the option of using the EAP non-standard process providing the applicable purpose is available for the selection.

  • Clients will be able to edit/update their user data currently stored in GLIMPS, and will be able to reuse FNC and confirmation numbers if an amendment is rejected.

Mylars will no longer be updated.

  • A new fully digital system has been built that replaces the use of Mylar township plats. Clients will now be able to print or save their displays in PDF format at no charge.

What do you need to do?

For Renewal Requests and Amendments:

We are looking for industry volunteers to begin testing the new system in early October. Please contact the EDS Support Desk so so that all testers are set up as soon as possible:

For Mylar Replacement:

Watch for a demonstration version of the new Mylar replacement system in mid-to-late September 2013.
