Calgary Forest Area Wildfire Update - September 30, 2024

The average wildfire danger across the Calgary Forest Area (CFA) is HIGH with some areas trending into the VERY HIGH particularly in southern portions of the area. Some areas received scattered precipitation over the weekend which helped to decrease the wildfire danger in the short term.


ACTIVE WILDFIRES IN THE CFA

CWF-081 was EXTINGUISHED at 0.6 hectares.

Since January 1, the CFA has responded to 81 wildfires which have burned 64.21 hectares.
