ACTIVE WILDFIRES IN CFA

ANP-007

The Dormer Wildfire (ANP-007) remains classified as out of control and estimated at 669 hectares. The increase in size is due to more accurate mapping and does not reflect an actual growth of the wildfire. Alberta Wildfire is working in conjunction with Parks Canada to control this wildfire. Between the two agencies, there are now 22 personnel on site with 4 helicopters. Today's cooler temperatures are expected to help suppression efforts and precipitation is expected in the coming days.

A FIRE ADVISORY remains in effect for the Calgary Forest Area. Fire permits are only being issued on a case-by-case basis.
