LOCAL WILDFIRE UPDATE

Rocky Wildfire 68

This wildfire west of Burnstick Lake is now classified as being held. Being held means that under current weather conditions and resources, the wildfire is not anticipated to grow past expected boundaries. Our firefighters continue their efforts to get this wildfire under control as quickly as possible. There are 33 firefighters, 1 airtanker, 2 helicopters and several pieces of heavy equipment working on this wildfire. Click here for map of RWF-068

The Bighorn Wildfire Complex

RWF-062 in the Coral Creek valley is being held at approximately 842 hectares,
RWF-063 near Canary Mountain is being held at approximately 628 hectares, and 
RWF-065 near Crescent Falls is now classified as under controlThis means that this wildfire is completely contained and will be extinguished.

There are a total of 19 firefighters, 4 helicopters and heavy equipment currently fighting these wildfires in the Bighorn Wildfire Complex RCX-001.

Trail closure information:
Coral Creek valley and White Rabbit Trail/Hummingbird area remain closed to the public to provide locations for firefighting operations.
