A Wildfire Advisory has been implemented in the Rocky Forest Area
- No new Fire permits will be issued
- Existing permits have been canceled
- Safe campfires are allowed - Ensure your campfire is out - Soak it, Stir it, Soak it Again.
- The Advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.

Provincial Wildfire Situation
- In the past 24 hours there have been four new wildfires. One is being held, one is under control, one has been turned over to the responsible party, and one has been extinguished.
- Alberta currently has nine wildfires. One is being held, five are under control and three have been turned over to the responsible party.
- Since April 1, 2016, Alberta has recorded 26 wildfires that have burned a total of 84.65 hectares.
