Temperatures are slowly heating up in the Rocky Forest Area driving the wildfire danger up to VERY HIGH. There is still a FIRE ADVISORY in place which means safe campfires are allowed but remember to be safe and fully extinguish your campfire. Soak the ashes, stir them and soak them again until they are cool to the touch.

Over the May Long Weekend, the Rocky Forest Area had 11 wildfires, all of which are now extinguished. Thank you to all those who helped do their part to prevent wildfires.
