The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area is now MODERATE.
WILDFIRE SITUATION UPDATE
There are currently two wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area. Both of these wildfires are under control.
Since March 1, there have been 46 wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, burning a total of 73 hectares (ha).
PROVINCIAL UPDATE
There are currently 13 wildfires in the Forest Protection Area (FPA) of Alberta. Twelve of these wildfires are under control and one has been turned over to the responsible party.
Since March 1 there have been 556 wildfires in the FPA, burning a total of 1,379 ha.

SAFE CAMPFIRE
If you're having a campfire in the Forest Protection of Area, make sure it's fully extinguished when you are done. Soak it, stir it, and soak it again until the ashes are cool to the touch. Never leave a campfire unattended!
