Due to recent widespread precipitation, the Fire Advisory has been lifted for the Rocky Forest Area section of the Forest Protection Area (FPA).
Fire permits will be issued and renewed for burn barrels and small hand piled brush piles. Fire Permits will not be available machine piled brush piles.

Regardless of the hazard, Albertans are asked to always use caution when recreating.
- Clear debris from hot spots on your Off-Highway Vehicle.
- Ensure your campfire is out - Soak it, Stir it, Soak it Again.
- Exploding targets can start wildfires. Please use extreme caution.

- Alberta currently has 24 wildfires: 1 is Being Held, 13 are Under Control, and 10 have been turned over to the responsible parties.
- Since April 1, Alberta has recorded 233 wildfires that burned a total of 574.97 hectares.
