GFX-HSB-WildfireDangerUpdate-Low.jpgThe wildfire danger in the Grande Prairie Forest area is Moderate. Portions of our area received rain and other areas remain very dry. A Fire Ban and an Off-Highway Vehicle Restriction is in place for parts of the Province of Alberta, including parts of the Grande Prairie Forest Area effective June 4, 2019.

Fire Control Zones 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 remain under a fire ban and OHV restriction. Many municipalities outside the Forest Protection Area also have fire bans and restrictions. This partial Fire Ban and Off-Highway Vehicle Restriction will remain in effect until conditions improve.
