A FIRE ADVISORY IN EFFECT
The wildfire danger rating for the Grande Prairie Forest Area is VERY HIGH. A Fire Advisory will remain in place for our forest area. Every precaution is needed to ensure no new wildfires are started, high winds and warmer conditions will continue to increase the potential for wildfire events in the area. Please take extra caution when working or recreating in the area.

Check AlbertaFirebans.ca where you are and please do your part to prevent wildfires

What is allowed:
Safe campfires in campgrounds (within fire ring), backyards, or random camping areas
Charcoal briquettes
Portable propane fire pits
Gas or propane stoves and barbecues
Catalytic or infrared-style heaters
