gfx-hsb-wildfiredangerupdate-highThe return to more seasonal temperatures, moderate winds and dry conditions have pushed the Wildfire hazard to HIGH for the Whitecourt Wildfire Management Area (WWMA). Dry grass and branches will catch fire easily; use caution when working and recreating in the forest.

Using an off-highway vehicle? During your day, check your vehicle for the build up of grass and other debris, the material can catch fire and drop from your vehicle as you drive; starting a wildfire.
