The wildfire danger for the Whitecourt Forest Area is expected to be HIGH tomorrow.

Hazard Reduction Burning

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry will be conducting hazard reduction burning in the Whitecourt Forest Area on May 9. These operations help remove dead and dry grass along strategic right-of-ways, to serve as fire breaks around communities.

Smoke may be visible from nearby roadways. If you have issues with smoke please call Health Link at 811.
