Wildfire Update - June 5, 2019
There are 1 wildfires burning in the Whitecourt Forest Area.
WWF-032 is located 20 kilometers northwest of Highway 32. This wildfire has a status of UNDER CONTROL, and is 43.10 hectares in size.
The fire ban and OHV restriction within the Whitecourt Forest Area has been lifted as of June 4th, 2019 (4:00 p.m). We ask that you visit albertafirebans.ca to stay informed as some parts of Alberta remain under a fire ban and OHV restriction.
If you are heading to the outdoors and plan on having a campfire, we ask that you build your campfire in a safe location, out of the wind and away from dry grass and debris. Keep a shovel and a pail of water nearby in case your fire gets away. Most importantly, never leave your campfire unattended and if you see smoke or flame in the forest, report it to 310-FIRE (3473).
