gfx-hsb-wildfiredangerupdate-extreme.jpgWildfire conditions in the Slave Lake Forest Area are EXTREME.  The temperatures in northern Alberta will continue to rise for Monday and Tuesday, reaching around 21-25 degrees Celsius. The winds will also pick up on Monday and Tuesday, they will be 25 gusting to 35 kilometres per hour.  As we move into Wednesday and Thursday the forecast is calling for a chance of rain and thundershowers.   A significant amount of rain is needed to reduce the hazard across the province and we have not received enough at this point.   Call 310-FIRE (3473) immediately to report a wildfire.
