Today's Wildfire Hazard
Recent rain and cooler temperatures has brought relief to the wildfire hazard in the Rocky Wildfire Management Area.

Rocky Wildfire Management Area Update
There is currently one lighning caused wildfire in the area which is under control at 0.50 hectares This is located approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Rocky Mountain House. Since April 1, 2015 there have been 85 wildfires which have burned 48 hectares.

Alberta Wildfire Update as of 10:00 am June 15th In the last 24 hours there have been five new wildfires.Alberta currently has 35 wildfires. One is out of control, six are being held, 26 are under control and two have been turned over to the responsible party. Since April 1, 2015, Alberta has recorded 886 wildfires that have burned a total of 92,143.66 hectares.

Soak it, Stir it up and Soak it Again.
