Wildfire and Prescribed Fire Update - May 23

The wildfire hazard has risen to VERY HIGH in the Rocky wildfire management areaWarm and dry weather is expected to continue over the next few days.

Due to the forecasted warm and dry weather the fire advisory remains in effect for the Rocky Wildfire Management Area.

FIRE PERMITS - Due to dry and windy conditions, fire permits have been suspended and no new permits will be issued until conditions allow.

Safe campfires are currently allowed, but may be restricted in the coming days if conditions worsen.
