The Hummingbird prescribed fire is planned to recommence Tuesday April 28th. The area will be closed to the public for the duration of the prescribed fire.The area will reopen for public use Wednesday April 29th.
The fire advisory in the Rocky Wildfire Management Area (RWMA) remains in effect.
Fire Permits
Due to the high fire hazard all fire permits continue to be suspended and no new permits will be issued. Albertans are encouraged to check the status of the advisory by checking www.albertafirebans.ca
Safe campfires are permitted in campgrounds or random camping areas. For more information check www.albertafirebans.ca
