There are currently 44 wildfires in the Forest Protection Area. 8 are out of control, 14 are being held, 21 are under control and 1 has been turned over to the responsible party. More information
From March 1 to October 31, Albertans in the Forest Protection Area need to get a FIRE PERMIT for any burning, excluding campfires. To request your free fire permit call your local Agriculture and Forestry Office.
