FIRE ADVISORY IS LIFTED - as of May 30, 2018

Fire permits will again be issued as usual for any burning in the Forest Protection Area of Alberta. Contact your local Agriculture and Forestry office to schedule a site visit to obtain a free permit. Fire permits ensure safe burning practices and allow staff to know where burning is approved so firefighters and aircraft are free to fight wildfires.

WILDFIRE DANGER
Cooler temperatures and higher humidity drop the wildfire danger to LOW across the Rocky Forest Area.

ALBERTA FIREBANS GOES MOBILE
Download the new Alberta fire ban app to check if there are any Advisories, Restrictions or Fire Bans where you're going. Available for Android and Apple devices, to make planning your next outdoor adventure a breeze!
In fact, do it now so you see where the recent fire bans and OHV restrictions are in northern Alberta!
