The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area is LOW.

 


FIRE ADVISORY 

The fire advisory has been lifted for the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area section of the Forest Protection Area due to favourable conditions.

Stay tuned to www.albertafirebans.ca throughout the wildfire season for more information about fire bans and restrictions in the Forest Protection Area of Alberta.

 


WILDFIRE SITUATION UPDATE

There are currently 2 wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area. Since March 1, there have been 25 wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, burning a total of 55.36 hectares. 


PROVINCIAL UPDATE

There are currently 17 wildfires in the Forest Protection Area (FPA) of Alberta. One of these wildfires is being held, nine are under control and seven have been turned over to the responsible party. 

Since March 1 there have been 239 wildfires in the FPA, burning a total of 889.46 ha.
