The wildfire danger in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area is now LOW.


FIRE ADVISORY LIFTED

The fire advisory is now lifted for the area.


WILDFIRE SITUATION UPDATE

There is currently one wildfire in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area. It is under control. Since March 1, there have been 29 wildfires in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, burning a total of 60.44 hectares. 


PROVINCIAL UPDATE

There are currently 10 wildfires in the Forest Protection Area (FPA) of Alberta. Six of these wildfires are under control and four have been turned over to the responsible party. 

Since March 1 there have been 297 wildfires in the FPA, burning a total of 915.99 ha.
