The wildfire danger is HIGH in the Lac La Biche Forest Area.
Due to the forecast for continued temperatures in the upper 20s and no precipitation, we expect the danger to remain HIGH through to next week.
Lac La Biche Forest Area Update:
- There were no new wildfires today.
- Since March 1, 2018, there have been 189 wildfires that have burnt a total of 16,336.44 hectares.
Many areas of Alberta have fire restrictions and fire bans in place due to wildfire danger. Please check albertafirebans.ca to see if you can have a campfire.
