The wildfire danger is MODERATE in the Lac La Biche Forest Area.
The forecast is for continuing warm and breezy for the next several days. We expect the danger to remain in the moderate to high range.
Lac La Biche Forest Area Update:
- There were no new wildfires today.
- Since March 1, 2018, there have been 189 wildfires that have burnt a total of 16,336.44 hectares.
- We have 7 crews, 1 helicopter, and the airtankers on hand to fight wildfires tomorrow.
Many areas of Alberta have fire restrictions and fire bans in place due to wildfire danger. Please check albertafirebans.ca to see if you can have a campfire.
