The wildfire danger is LOW in the Lac La Biche Forest Area.  

The forecast for Monday is for a high of 20 degrees, humidity of 40%, continued chance of precipitation, and light winds. We expect cooler temperatures to continue for the beginning of the week, with drying conditions as the week progresses.


Lac La Biche Forest Area Update:

  • There were no new wildfires today.
  • Since March 1, 2018, there have been 189 wildfires that have burnt a total of 16,336.44 hectares. 
  • We have 9 crews, 1 helicopter, and the airtankers on hand to fight wildfires tomorrow.

Many areas of Alberta have fire restrictions in place due to wildfire danger.  Please check albertafirebans.ca to see if you can have a campfire.
