The overall wildfire hazard for the Lac La Biche Forest Area will be HIGH for July 29th. Areas to the east of highway 63 will be at MODERATE. Click here to view the wildfire hazard map.
Although the area recently received rain, it only takes an afternoon of warm temperatures for the forest to become dry again.
There have been no new wildfires in the past 24 hours.
Since March 1st, the Lac La Biche Area has recorded 54 wildfires, burning a total area of 105.71 hectares.
Please do your part to prevent wildfire. Make sure your campfires are extinguished before you leave them.
