Wildfire Hazard Update - Lac La Biche Area July 27, 2017

Warm weather has caused the wildfire hazard to climb to HIGH in the Lac La Biche Forest Area.  Click here to view the wildfire hazard map.

There have been no new wildfires in the past 24 hours.

Since March 1st, the Lac La Biche Area has recorded 54 wildfires, burning a total area of 105.71 hectares.

Today temperatures will be reaching 30 degrees and winds will be from the southeast/west at 20 kilometres per hour.

Please do your part to prevent wildfire. Make sure your campfires are extinguished before you leave them.

Unless conditions change, you can expect your next wildfire update on July 28th, 2017.
