The wildfire hazard is LOW for the Lac La Biche forest area. We expect LOW to MODERATE hazard levels for the next few days.
We didn't have any new wildfires this week. We have crews on hand to action any new wildfires.
As fall approaches and the grass begins to dry out, its important to remember to completely extinguish your campfires before you leave them. As you head out for last summer camp outs, hunting scouting trips or other recreating in the forest area, please continue to take the time to make sure your campfires are out before you leave them. Soak it, stir the ashes, soak it again.
