The wildfire hazard is HIGH for the Lac La Biche forest area.
The forecast for Sunday is for a high of 20, humidity at 40% and winds W25 gusting to 45 km/hr. It's the wind that helped increase the wildfire hazard. Any fires that start tomorrow will travel quickly in dry grass.
We have four crews and three helicopters on hand for tomorrow to action any new wildfires.
If you're out camping this weekend, please make sure your campfire is completely extinguished before you leave it.
