The wildfire hazard is LOW for Monday.

The forecast for tomorrow is for a high of 19 degrees, 40% humidity, light winds, moderate chance of lighting and the potential for thundershowers.

We didn't have any new fires today.  There have been 49 wildfires so far this season.  There are no active fires in the Lac La Biche forest area.

We have 11 crews, 2 helicopters and the airtankers on hand in the area tomorrow.

Now is a good time to think about getting a permit if you're planning fireworks for July 1.  Beat the rush.  Contact your local Agriculture & Forestry office and arrange for a patrolman to visit your fireworks site.

Thanks for doing your part to prevent wildfire.
