The wildfire hazard is continuing LOW as we head into the weekend.
Cooler temperatures and some scattered rain earlier today, combined with the rain associated with the crossing of the cold front later tonight is expected to dampen wildfire hazard conditions for a few days.
We have three crews on hand to action any new wildfire tomorrow.
Parts of southern Alberta remain under a fire ban and quad restriction, as the hazard there is still VERY HIGH to EXTREME. Check Alberta firebans.ca for information if you are headed out to the forest this weekend.
