The wildfire hazard for the Lac La Biche area has returned to HIGH.  Cooler temperatures and increased humidity on the weekend gave us a couple days of recovery time for the fires, but the hazard has now returned to HIGH.

The forecast for today is for a high of 23 degrees, humidity of 25%, chance of thundershowers and winds at SW15 changing to SE10.  Temperatures are forecast to increase over the week, continuing to dry out the forest.

We had no new fires over the weekend!  Existing fires saw little change since Saturday.

Have a good Monday in the forest!  Your next report will be tonight, and will include a recap on our existing fires.
