A cold front crossing the area later tomorrow is expected to drop temperatures to a high of 13 with relative humidity of 25%.  Winds should be lighter tomorrow at NE15 km/hr.  Cooler temperatures should continue for a couple of days, but there is no precipitation expected.

There are currently 8 wildfires in our area.  Seven are under control.  The fire that started yesterday, east of Highway 63, is now being held.  Ground crews, with air support, worked on this fire all day.  Northeast winds tomorrow could mean smoke will be pushed towards the highway.  Exercise caution in this area.

We have six crews and six helicopters as well as heavy equipment working in the area.  So far this season we've had 35 wildfires.

A FIRE ADVISORY remains in place at this time.  No new permits are being issued.  Winds speeds of greater than 12 km/hr mean it's not safe to burn!  Thanks for doing your part to prevent wildfire by respecting the FIRE ADVISORY.
