The wildfire hazard is MODERATE this weekend.
Although the tempertures are in the mid to high twenties this weekend, the humidity levels are relatively high and there is a recurring chance of precipitation. There is high lightning potential.
We have crews, helicopters and the airtankers on hand to fight any new wildfires in the area.
We didn't have any new wildfires this week. Thanks to everyone who took the time to put out their campfires! Soak it, stir the ashes, and soak it again to make sure your campfire doesn't come back to life after you leave it.
