The wildfire hazard for tomorrow is MODERATE.

The forecast for tomorrow is for a high of 19 degrees with a higher humidity of 60%, chance of precipitation, and shifting winds at NE 15/SE 20.

We didn't have any new wildfires today.  Crews were on the lookout for smoke from the lighting that crossed the area yesterday.  Yesterday's fires in Fort McMurray have subsided, and the crews we sent to help have returned to our forest area.

We have 12 crews, 3 helicopters and the air tankers on hand tomorrow to action any new wildfires.

Even though the hazard is lower for tomorrow, remember to put your campfires out before you leave them.  Winds can stir a fire back to life!  Don't assume your campfire will go out on it's own.  Soak it, stir the ashes, soak it again.

Thanks for doing your part to prevent wildfire.
