With many fires burning in the area it's important to prevent any new human caused fires from starting. If you are using a quad in the forest area, be diligent about stopping frequently and clearing debris. Soak it and stomp it to make sure you're not leaving any smouldering grass or muskeg behind.
We're expecting lightning this afternoon, which will most likely ignite wildfires at strike sites. We are patrolling and monitoring.
