The wildfire hazard is HIGH for the Lac La Biche area, however, due to unsettled weather conditions forecast for the weekend, we are revising the Fire Advisory.
Previously suspended permits are now active, and permits are being issued for light burning (burn barrels, grass, hand piled brush piles, etc.). We are still not issuing permits for any non-essential heavy burning including windrows, machine piled brush piles, root piles, etc.
