The wildfire hazard remains LOW as the rain does it's best to cover the whole area.  In the meantime, the FIRE BAN and QUAD RESTRICTION for the east half of the area remain in effect. A FIRE ADVISORY is in effect for the west half of the area.

We had no new wildfires today.  The powerpole fire from yesterday has been extinguished. Crews are making good progress on LWF 076, west of Janvier.  We expect tomorrow to be another good day as well, as the rain and humidity are helping our firefighters get this fire under control.

Thanks for doing your part to prevent wildfire.

Your next update will be issued when there are changes to the FIRE BAN or conditions change.
