Wildfire prevention tips

Albertans are asked to use caution when recreating within the Forest Protection Area:

  • With the warmer temperatures and receding snow, dry grasses and vegetation are now a fire hazard. Please refrain from tossing cigarette butts out the window or onto the ground.

  • Clear debris from hot spots on your Off-Highway Vehicle.

  • Ensure your campfire is out - Soak it, Stir it, Soak it Again.
